Oakland Voices Reacts

2016-electionThe Oakland Voices correspondents covered local elections last week, writing about the successful campaigns for expanded protections for renters, a soda tax, a civilian police commission and the not- as- successful, but strongly community-based, campaigns to unseat city council incumbents. We’ve posted their stories. We also asked them to write about their experiences covering the election; the disturbing results of the presidential election was very much a part of their experiences. They have written powerfully and passionately about their reactions. We will be posting those articles over the next few days.
