About Pamela Rudd
Pamela Rudd returned to Laney college after a significant hiatus to study journalism and write for the Citizen. As an East Bay native she was born in San Francisco and grew up in Orinda when cattle roamed the hills and horses grazed nearby. Pam attended college after high school and received a doctorate from the University of Nevada in psychology. She has witnessed the aftermath of the Viet Nam war, the AIDS crisis and the birth of Silicon Valley, and is always amazed by the resiliency of the human spirit and the great effects of a little kindness.
