Sathya Chaib is the summer 2026 digital media intern for Oakland Voices with Dow Jones News Fund. Sathya is a rising senior at Cal State Fullerton where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications, emphasis in journalism and a minor in political science. She has reported on local policy, activism and education, focusing on stories that impact communities. Alongside her education, she is also pursuing a digital communications media certificate, and has experience editing multimedia content.
