We invite Bay Area journalists to come hang-out with us. Our aim is to give people a place to network and share resources, in addition to reminding each other that we are not alone. Journalism is hard: It’s hard getting the job, keeping the job, and even stepping away from the job. So we’re asking for just a few hours of your time – delay that pitch and postpone that deadline – and come fellowship with your fellow journalists.
Hosted by Momo Chang of Oakland Voices, Martin Reynolds and Evelyn Hsu of Maynard Institute for Journalism Education, and Pendarvis Harshaw of KQED.
The happy hour takes place Wednesday, December 13 at The Hatch in downtown Oakland. Light appetizers will be provided. Please RSVP at this link.
