Oakland Airport to offer free COVID testing for Hawaii-bound passengers

Oakland International Airport announced that it will begin offering free COVID tests for employees and passengers going to Hawaii. The testing begins October 6. The pre-test travel program to Hawaii begins October 15, 2020. Passengers who prove they have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of departure can forgo the 14-day quarantine.

  1. I am trying to find out how to schedule for the rapid virus testing that is located in front of Oakland Airport terminal. I only see the link for scheduling the drive-thru testing. We will be getting tested the day before or the morning of our flight to Hawaii.

    Can you get the rapid molecular testing button the driver-thru location, for purposes of traveling to Hawaii?
