On Thursday, June 15, 2017, Oakland Voices sponsored Use Your Voice, a public forum on community news. Oakland Voices correspondents shared details about the stories they had reported about East Oakland and collected ideas for additional stories, including an investigation into child hunger in Oakland.

The Native American Health Center generously hosted the forum, offering a wonderful, flexible meeting space and support services. Thank You Native American Health Center.

For 45 years, the center has served the health needs of Native communities and anyone in need of health care.
